Derby Medical Centre Flu vaccination update 2020

Derby Medical Centre have put plans in place to be able to safely administer the flu vaccine for patients. This may be done differently to how it has been done in the past.

We are offering various Saturday clinics for patients starting 12th September – there will be a one way system in place on the day – If you require a flu vaccine patients should only contact the practice for details regarding the flu vaccination if unable to access details online via our website.

The number of people eligible to receive the flu vaccine on the NHS this year has increased, and it is important that eligible patients get the flu vaccination. This is particularly important for those in at risk groups because flu can cause severe complications. Vaccination clinics will begin towards the end of September in various stages for different cohorts, with those in at risk groups prioritised.
